Our Dyes and Mordants
Color Ashram: A lab with ❤️
Play with natural color-making, color-formulation, and application. Our formula combines the composition of plant-based chemistry and mineral-based dyes with the composition of the surface used to provide optimal results. From tried and tested recipes to brand-new ones, we are a lab that likes challenges and is constantly evolving, like nature.
WE USE TRUE TONE INK FORMULA
Our dyes, or TrueTones as we like to call them, are fit for both personal and industrial use. The True Tone Ink Formula is a combination of natural mordant and herbal dye-source, unlike natural dyes available on the market today. This is because we innovate with the aim of keeping the holistic dyeing process non-toxic and bio-degradable at every possible step, and consider the pre and post-treatment of dyeing very seriously.
